  • 2026-10-19 Remote access: added optional qBittorrent WebUI publishing behind Cloudflare Access.
  • 2026-10-19 Narrowed scope to the media server stack (Plex, *arrs, qBittorrent/gluetun, Seerr, Tautulli, backups). Removed all non-media pages (home automation, secondary host, dashboard, monitoring/alerts, admin VPN, firewall and router notes).
  • 10-19 Security review: removed schedules, thresholds, exposure and version/patch details from the public guide (moved to the private runbook).

  • 10-19 Renamed to "Home Media Server Setup Guide"; home page reframed as my personal rebuild guide.

  • 10-19 Radarr/Sonarr: 1080p ranked above 2160p, cutoff at 1080p, 2160p kept as a fallback with size caps, AV1 blocked. Guide published.

  • 10-19 Plex streaming tuning: no remote bitrate cap, upload speed set, 1 transcode, prefer speed, relay off, analysis tasks scheduled. qBittorrent caps and scheduler. Tautulli added.

  • 10-18 restic → B2 backups. Snapshot Replication schedules. Allowed Hosts set in Sonarr/Radarr.
  • 10-17 Prowlarr → qBittorrent download client.
  • 10-16 Moved to the TRaSH /data hardlink layout. Fully switched to qBittorrent (Transmission retired). Plex libraries moved to /data/media. Quality-profile tidy-up (Classic profile, YTS CF).
  • 10-15 Moved from haugene transmission-openvpn to gluetun (PIA WireGuard + port forwarding), managed in Portainer.
  • 2026-10-19 Guide created.
