Service	What it's for	Notes / cost
Plex + Plex Pass	Media server, remote streaming	Since April 2025, remote playback of personal media needs Plex Pass on the server owner or the viewer. With the owner's Pass, shared users are covered.
Private Internet Access (PIA)	VPN for torrents, with port forwarding	Pick a port-forward-capable region (not US). You need the PIA username and password for gluetun's port-forward API.
Backblaze B2	Off-site restic repository for the app configs	Create a private bucket (<your-bucket>) and an application key restricted to that bucket. About $6–7/TB-month; this backup is about 10 GB, so pennies.

Cloudflare (free plan) (optional)	Domain + Tunnel, only if you want Seerr reachable from outside	See Remote access.
